Grated Cheese

Grated cheese is an extremely popular, internationally consumed cheese cut. In the United States, grated cheese is instead known as ‘shredded’ cheese. Types of cheese which are commonly grated / shredded include: Cheddar, Red Leicester, Edam and Cheshire.

Grated cheeses are sprinkled world wide onto pizzas, bolognese and steaming hot jacket potatoes. Grated cheese tastes good with foods and dishes which are simple and (often) cost-effective, making grated cheese doubly economic.

Wholesale Grated Cheese

Purchasing wholesale grated cheese can result in savings for any food or catering business which doesn’t employ staff to further process food internally. Rather than employing staff to grate blocks of cheese, why not simply purchase pre-grated cheese in bulk?

The money saved by purchasing grated cheese in volume will usually compensate for the fact that labour costs are included in the price of each unit. For some businesses who already process (but don’t manufacture) large quantities of food, it may be better to purchase wholesale cheese blocks. For everyone else; pre-grated cheese is likely to be the best option.
